Coldplay - More 2 new tracks (Life in Technicolour and Lost!)
Two more songs - a snippet of the opening track "Life in Technicolor" (just fantastic! I've read that it's just a teasing snippet with vocals coming later on...) and the b-side of Violet Hill's single in Europe entitled "Lost!"

Coldplay - Two unreleased tracks! (Viva la Vida + A Spell a Rebel Yell)
Violet Hill just came out last week. This week New Music Express released an exclusive b-side "A Spell a Rebel Yell" which has been suggested by some forums to have a marked U2
influence... Should we call it Brian Eno's signature sound?
Then iTunes just released today a new song - available for pre-order - "Viva la Vida" (I've found this link Googling it!)

Lior - Corner of An Endless Road (2007)
I stumbled across Lior's music browsing some musical blog which I can't remember the name now... but I immediately connected to his music. What a great singer and songwriter! This guy has LOTS of talent!
Lior was born in Israel but moved to Australia at the age of 10. He music is a mix of his Middle Eastern roots flavored with the singing style of several songwriters/singers from the 60s and 70s such as Paul McCartney, Neil Young, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell (which he mentions as musical influences).
Corner of An Endless Road is actually his 2nd album and it's full of eastern-tinged folk songs with plenty of fingerpicked acoustic guitar. It has been playing constantly in my car's CD player. The album is a rare, wonderful piece of work. This kind of music is a breath of fresh air above a sea of bands who forgo melody in favour of simple riffs and lyrics that are blatantly written for an audience. Lior writes of his experiences in such a sincere and honest way that one cannot help but be carried away by the story. Imagine a mix of Beatles, Nick Drake, Rufus Wainwright, Duncan Sheik and Led Zeppelin altogether....
Grade: A+
Here's just a sample of this GREAT CD which you can get it on Amazon:
+ Lost In You (this one resembles stuff made by Nick Drake)
+ Jerusalem (a mix of Beatles and Beach Boys vocal harmonies)
+ Safety of Distance (one of the most beautiful songs I've heard this year! What a voice...)

Death Cab for Cutie - No Sunlight, Cath and Talking Bird (unreleased tracks!)
I've finally found a live recording of No Sunlight!
And two other new tracks: Cath and Talking Bird
Thanks for the correct information! It seems that I've got fooled with this April's fool joke! The band is actually called Velveteen, from Germany and the song is called "The Drummer Goes Berserk".
