Chris Cornell - Unplugged in Sweden (2006) and his new 007 track!

Chris Cornell has always surprised me when he decides to persue his solo projects. Euphoria Morning was a great example of that. More to come soon, as he recently just got back in studio for the recordings of a new solo CD (date/name TBD).
In this exclusive performance (thanks to audioslavelatino.com) recorded in Sweden, he explores not only great acoustic versions of Soundgarden classics (Black Hole Sun, Feel on Black Days, Be Yourself) but also exposes his versatility covering from Bob Marley (Redemption Song) to Michael Jackson (Billie Jean) passing through the an obvious big influence in his guitar playing and singing - aka Mr Robert Plant (Thank You by Led Zeppelin). A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
And, if you liked it, please leave your comments...

Be Yourself is Audioslave, not Soundgarden

I didn't understand the link to download the concert. Didn't quite trust the site. I have heard Chris Cornell doing Billy Jean. It blew me out of the water. It was cool. My BF doesn't understand why it's got me so excited. He says I'm obsessing... did I mention my BF is slightly stupid.

The Billy Jean song was so cool, much much better than when Michael Jackson did it. It finally makes sense! I happened to hear it on the radio. The damn DJs waited forever to play it. Unfortunately I was at home or I would have thrown a blank tape into the stereo.

I want to find this recording so I can rub it in my BF's face. Please and thank you.

I was able to download the concert. I found the file on Ares. It had the whole concert and back and front artwork in a zip file. I love this album! I don't know why it wasn't released as a legit album rather than just bootleg. I bought the newest album "Carry On" and if you want my opinion Unplugged in Sweden is much better, Chris should sing like this all the time!

In "Carry On" he redid Billy Jean, but it wasn't as good as the unplugged version!!

Well, I stumbled across "Billie Jean" using Limewire. I thought it was just a one of track, a gem. Come to find out there was a whole show! Spent two days dling it. Found track listing and cover art. Since then I have given about 25 cd's of this to friends and it has made it all the way to Australia, Germany and Japan. Let me know if I can help anyone.
